We ship Mon-Thursday and some Fridays. Please know USPS and UPS often say "delivered" but it takes an additional day or two for the package to actually BE delivered --yes, it's annoying! We have to deal with this every single day, this is not in our control.
On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.

Did you know we will send a return label to you for returning items? When people "refuse" a delivery, it costs us triple the original postage to claim the parcel back. PLEASE DO NOT do this! EMAIL US or call us so we can handle it. Our contact page is here.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. If you file a chargeback on a preorder I will ban you from my website for the rest of time. I've only had to do this once, but it is totally rediculous to make up a story about arrival times when it is NOT in my control. WE DO NOT HOLD BACK items- there is NO ROOM or time to do this. I've stayed until midnight shipping preorders because they arrive at 5pm, just to get them out the door. BE COOL or be banned for life.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Seafoam Original Soft Vinyl – Sewing Vinyl for Bag Making
Seafoam Original Soft Vinyl is a soft vinyl with a brushed woven fabric backing that sews just like fabric on a home sewing machine – no sticking, no slipping. Use it for tote bags, crossbody bags, zipper pouches and in-the-hoop embroidery projects.
This is our original, paler seafoam color run with a more minty-green tone.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size is each piece?
Each piece measures 18" x 56" (the selvage edge runs 2–4"). Plan your pattern pieces inside the selvage.
Can I sew it on a home sewing machine?
Yes. Use a Universal 80/12 needle; a regular, walking or Teflon foot all work. Hold layers with clips – no pins needed.
Do I need interfacing?
It depends on your project. For a structured bag, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, skip it.
Can I iron it?
Yes – iron from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Always test on a scrap first.
Is it washable?
Yes. Machine wash and dry on cool.
Is this the same as adhesive craft vinyl?
No. This is sewing vinyl for bags and accessories – it has no adhesive backing and isn't meant for cutting machines like Cricut.
What can I make with it?
Bags (just add a lining), zipper pouches, clutches, in-the-hoop embroidery and the Witchy Hat.

I have been waiting patiently for this to come back into stock and was thrilled when I got the notice that it was back. It is even more beautiful than the photos and now I don't want to cut into it. I really like the soft vinyls as it is so easy to sew and this seafoam is no exception. Great vinyl for a great price. Superior quality as always. Now if I can just bring myself to cut it! Nah, I will wait for awhile and just admire it.

I love this original Sea Foam Soft Vinyl! I gave many colors now including the newer version. The original is a softer Seafoam color and is quite lovely! I’m very excited to have this in my stash!
