We ship Mon-Thursday and some Fridays. Please know USPS and UPS often say "delivered" but it takes an additional day or two for the package to actually BE delivered --yes, it's annoying! We have to deal with this every single day, this is not in our control.
On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Did you know we will send a return label to you for returning items? When people "refuse" a delivery, it costs us triple the original postage to claim the parcel back. PLEASE DO NOT do this! EMAIL US or call us so we can handle it. Our contact page is here.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. If you file a chargeback on a preorder I will ban you from my website for the rest of time. I've only had to do this once, but it is totally rediculous to make up a story about arrival times when it is NOT in my control. WE DO NOT HOLD BACK items- there is NO ROOM or time to do this. I've stayed until midnight shipping preorders because they arrive at 5pm, just to get them out the door. BE COOL or be banned for life.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Moonglow Mustard Vinyl – Pebbled Faux Leather for Bag Making
Moonglow Mustard Vinyl is a matte, pebbled faux leather in rich mustard yellow, made for sewing bags and accessories on a home sewing machine. Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick: soft and drapey like leather, yet sturdy enough for totes, crossbody bags, purses and pouches.
Colors can vary on different monitors, so please see all photos and expect some variation with different lighting.

What size is each piece?
Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick, enough for a medium-to-large bag or several accessories.
Is Moonglow Mustard shiny?
No. Moonglow has a matte, pebbled finish with no sheen or glare, for a leather-like look.
Can I sew this on a home sewing machine?
Yes. Use a Microtex 80/12 needle and a 3mm stitch length. A regular presser foot works; you don't need a Teflon foot. Hold layers with clips instead of pins to avoid permanent holes.
Do I need interfacing?
It depends on your project. For structured bags, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, leftover batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, you can skip interfacing entirely.
Is this vinyl sticky or adhesive-backed?
No. It's a non-adhesive faux leather vinyl designed for sewing, not sticking.
Can I iron this vinyl?
Press from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Never touch a hot iron directly to the front of the vinyl.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash on cool.
What patterns work well with Moonglow Mustard?
Any Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl-compatible pattern works. The Santorini Tote is a fan favorite, and the Madison, Arlo, Andy and Donovan bags are all excellent choices too.

The Moonglow Vinyl in Mustard is a very nice color! I went thru my fabric bins and saw that some of my fabrucs from SHH have a mustard color in them. It’s going to look great! I have been eyeing this color for some time and of course when I decided to add it to my "collection", it was sold out. As soon as it came back in, I jumped on it and am so glad I did. It is even more stunning than in the pics. The color is very rich and being Moonglow, is easy to sew. I love everything about this color and cannot wait to find the perfect project for it.
