Shipping & Returns

We ship Mon-Thursday and some Fridays. Please know USPS and UPS often say "delivered" but it takes an additional day or two for the package to actually BE delivered --yes, it's annoying! We have to deal with this every single day, this is not in our control.

On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.

Did you know we will send a return label to you for returning items? When people "refuse" a delivery, it costs us triple the original postage to claim the parcel back. PLEASE DO NOT do this! EMAIL US or call us so we can handle it. Our contact page is here.

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.  If you file a chargeback on a preorder I will ban you from my website for the rest of time. I've only had to do this once, but it is totally rediculous to make up a story about arrival times when it is NOT in my control. WE DO NOT HOLD BACK items- there is NO ROOM or time to do this. I've stayed until midnight shipping preorders because they arrive at 5pm, just to get them out the door. BE COOL or be banned for life.

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them.

Champagne Moonglow Vinyl – Pebbled Faux Leather for Bag Making

Champagne Moonglow Vinyl is a pebbled faux leather with a subtle shimmer in champagne, made for sewing bags and accessories on a home sewing machine. Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick: soft and drapey like leather, yet sturdy enough for totes, crossbody bags, purses and pouches.

Champagne is the only Moonglow color with a shimmer. It has the same soft, pebbled Moonglow hand with a subtle metallic champagne sheen.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is each piece?

Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick, enough for a medium-to-large bag or several accessories.

Is Champagne Moonglow shiny?

Yes, slightly. Champagne is the only Moonglow color with a subtle shimmer; the rest of the line is matte.

Can I sew this on a home sewing machine?

Yes. Use a Microtex 80/12 needle and a 3mm stitch length. A regular presser foot works; you don't need a Teflon foot. Hold layers with clips instead of pins to avoid permanent holes.

Do I need interfacing?

It depends on your project. For structured bags, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, leftover batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, you can skip interfacing entirely.

Is this vinyl sticky or adhesive-backed?

No. It's a non-adhesive faux leather vinyl designed for sewing, not sticking.

Can I iron this vinyl?

Press from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Never touch a hot iron directly to the front of the vinyl.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash on cool.

What goes with Champagne Moonglow?

It pairs perfectly with our Champagne Jacquard Webbing and Gutermann thread color 22.

What patterns work well with Champagne Moonglow?

Any Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl-compatible pattern works. The Santorini Tote is a fan favorite, and the Madison, Arlo, Andy and Donovan bags are all excellent choices too.
