Shipping & Returns

We ship Mon-Thursday and some Fridays. Please know USPS and UPS often say "delivered" but it takes an additional day or two for the package to actually BE delivered --yes, it's annoying! We have to deal with this every single day, this is not in our control.

On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.

Did you know we will send a return label to you for returning items? When people "refuse" a delivery, it costs us triple the original postage to claim the parcel back. PLEASE DO NOT do this! EMAIL US or call us so we can handle it. Our contact page is here.

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.  If you file a chargeback on a preorder I will ban you from my website for the rest of time. I've only had to do this once, but it is totally rediculous to make up a story about arrival times when it is NOT in my control. WE DO NOT HOLD BACK items- there is NO ROOM or time to do this. I've stayed until midnight shipping preorders because they arrive at 5pm, just to get them out the door. BE COOL or be banned for life.

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. 

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

FINAL DEPOSIT for HOLIDAY BOX - shipping around November 15: NO COUPON CODES ALLOWED - your box will not ship. Please know this is for the folks who signed up back in June and paid the initial $100 deposit.

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO EXTRAS. If you paid for this final deposit but didn't pay the initial deposit in June, we will be contacting you and issuing store credit. I have NO extra boxes, sorry. I stated this back in June many many times.

Retail Value will be updated ASAP - many of these products are custom built in factory, so there is no set retail monetary value yet .... we are working on it. Right now I can safely say $300+

As usual, my Holiday Box is NOT Christmas Themed. It is a conglomeration of COOL THINGS that mostly pertain to sewing, but there WILL BE some non-sewing pretties inside.

So far we have 20 amazing, gorgeous, useful items inside but I have been known to add more things last minute.

Nothing will be currently listed in my shop -- everything is special order, customized, particular to Sew Hungry Hippie. NO REPEATS on previous box items.
No food
No scented items / No bath items like soaps or lotions


If you are a picky person, DO NOT get this box. I put a lot of effort into these boxes and I want them to make joy, not heartache. Know yourself. 🤭💕

We WILL sell out, and there will not be extras after-the-fact for sale.

It was easy to pay the final deposit

It was easy to pay the final deposit. Emailed me in advance and paid it right away. Can't wait for the box!!! Very excited!!! Received boxes before and had alot of good stuff. Some of the fabric, I was a little iffy on but I ended up using it for a project and liked it in the end. Nice to experiment with fabric I would not think of buying. These boxes do that for me. I a new quilter/bag maker so love to being able to look outside the box an try something unexpected.
